Southwest Greens together with its parent, Shaw Industries, introduces Hydro Chill – a cooling technology for synthetic turf. One of the drawbacks with artificial grass for years has been “it gets too hot” and it does, especially in Southern climates. The entire industry has been searching for solutions to the problem with marginal results. UV resistant pigments in the turf only made it too shiny and stiff with miniscule reductions in temperature. Alas, Shaw invented Hydro Chill. This summer in Florida, we treated over 50,000 sq. ft. of installations ranging from sports parks and playgrounds to backyard lawns. The results were stunning – 40 degrees surface temperature reductions on average. Click here to learn more –> HydroChill
Southwest Greens installed this beautiful synthetic grass lawn in Miami last week. Our new Bolt artificial grass fibers not only look great, they are twice as durable as any other synthetic turf fiber on the market today. Eliminate your lawn worries forever – go synthetic!
